The warmth and friendliness of the managers made me feel like part of the family, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is often hard to find in lodges. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean, featuring a delightful parquet floor that added a touch of elegance to the environment. the complimentary toiletries provided were of excellent quality, enhancing the comfort of my stay. I also savored a superb home-cooked dinner that showcased the local flavors, while the breakfast, prepared by Klare, was both delicious and nutritious. For anyone looking for a remarkable experience amidst the beauty of the Basque hills, I highly recommend Herriko Ostatua as a perfect retreat that combines comfort, sustainability, and genuine hospitality.
